What is in it for me?

There is no money involved as a reward for participants. However, if you would like to be named as a reference contributor of the article that will be published at the end of the Delphi survey, that is possible. If you want to participate but not be named, that is fine too.

Can I participate as an expert by profession with lived experience?

Yes you can! Professionals who have undergone genital gender affirming surgery can choose to fill in one survey from their personal point of view (select ‘experience expert’ in the registration box) or choose to fill in both surveys as a professional from their work related experience AND personal experience (select ‘professional and lived experience expert’ in the registration box).

I have detransitioned, can I participate in the study?

Yes you can. I you have undergone feminizing or masculinizing genital gender surgery more than three months ago, you can participate. If you have undergone both feminizing and masculinizing genital surgery and are unsure if you want to contribute to the feminizing or masculinizing COS, email us at info@ genders.org.

Can I participate in just one round of the Delphi survey?

After the first round closes, it is not possible to enter the study anymore. Only participants who completed the first round, will be asked to complete the second survey and only participants who completed the first two rounds will be asked to complete the third round. If you have completed one or two rounds and want to stop participation, please email us at info@gendercos.org.
